Control theory x AI

At the MIC lab, we conduct research that harnesses the synergy between control theory, primarily model predictive control (MPC), and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, particularly reinforcement learning (RL). This powerful combination allows us to address specific control problems within the field of future mobility. However, we are equally fascinated by the potential of integrating control theory and AI to solve general control problems. We are excited to share upcoming results and insights from our investigations, which highlight the effectiveness of this fusion in tackling diverse control challenges.
